Dear Clients and Friends,
We hope this letter finds each of you healthy and effectively dealing with the issues we have all been forced to conquer in this environment that is new to all of us.
Like other businesses around the world, we have been monitoring the rapidly changing situation with respect to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our office is still open and fully operational. We will still have regular office hours but are encouraging people to practice social distancing to help control the spread of COVID-19. We are limiting the number of people that come into the office and encouraging people to either email their information through our encrypted sharefile portal, mail through the postal system, fax or drop their information at the front desk.
In our current environment we prefer electronic delivery of documents to our firm, so if any instruction is needed on how to use the sharefile encrypted portal, reach out to us and we will be happy to help in that area.
We are fortunate that as a firm we have adopted technology that allows us to work remotely and stay productive and efficient. Our employees that can effectively do their job remotely have been given the option to do so. We are and will remain completely operational and available to meet your needs.
This is obviously a difficult time for everyone, a lot of unknown which is always scary, but we want to assure you that one area you do not need to worry about is the service that we provide to you. If you have any questions please reach out to any of us at the firm, by preferably telephone or email. Do not hesitate to contact any of our firm members for any need you may have, we are completely available to you.
On Friday March 20, 2020, the President as well as the Governor of the State of Montana both officially extended the tax deadlines for individuals, trusts and corporations that had a due date of April 15th to July 15th. This extension also applies to tax payments and 1st quarter estimates. As a firm we are still encouraging people to file their returns now to so they can get the refunds they need. We are also encouraging people to pay their taxes now if they have the means to do so.
We wish all of you the best as you deal with the issues we are faced with, and hope we return to normal very soon.
